About Continuum Coaching

Continuum Coaching helps you create lasting momentum in the areas that matter most—your health, your performance, and your life direction.

Helping you navigate…

We offer three coaching paths, designed to meet you where you are and move you toward meaningful, long-term change:

  • Endurance Sports Coaching – for athletes training for triathlon, running, or cycling events, whether you're chasing a finish line or coming back to sport after time away.

  • Health and Wellness Coaching – for anyone ready to improve their energy, nutrition, movement, or overall well-being without fads or quick fixes.

  • Life & Career Coaching – for those navigating change, seeking purpose, or wanting support as they redefine success in work and life.

Each path is grounded in the same philosophy: real change happens when you connect your goals to who you are and where you want to go—not just for now, but for the long haul.

I'm David Cagle — an endurance coach, nutrition coach, and life coach based in Northwest Arkansas, working with clients nationwide.

I hold a USA Triathlon Level 1 coaching certification, a Precision Nutrition Level 2 certification, an ACC credential from the International Coaching Federation, a National Board Certification in Health & Wellness Coaching (NBC-HWC), an ESCI Certified Endurance Coach designation, and an 80/20 Endurance coaching certification. I’ve been a featured guest on The TriDot Podcast, where I shared my approach to helping new athletes get started in the sport.

I coach athletes training for sprint, Olympic, half-iron, and IRONMAN distance triathlons, as well as half marathons, marathons, and ultra running events. Most of the people I work with are driven professionals — often women in their 30s through 60s — who want to train for a meaningful endurance goal while also improving their nutrition, managing stress, and building a life that actually works.

My approach integrates structured training, evidence-based nutrition, and mindset coaching because I've learned that sustainable performance doesn't come from one of those things — it comes from all of them working together. I've coached athletes to Ironman and marathon finish lines, supported professionals through major health and career transitions, and helped people build habits that hold up long after the race is over.

If you're looking for a coach who takes the whole picture seriously — not just the training plan — I'd love to talk.

Testimonials

  • Coach Cagle wholeheartedly made me part of a team, even as a face on a screen half way across the county. As a first-time 70.3er, I wasn’t sure what to expect from coaching, but his guidance made everything feel possible. The training was flexible enough, the goals were realistic, and the constant support—through messages, check-ins, and encouragement… along with listening to my woes and being my Garmin IT support—kept me going. I never felt alone in the process, and by race day, I was ready. After race day, he somehow even convinced me to sign up for the next one (and a third!) If you’re looking for a coach who believes in you, you’re in the right place.

Ellen, Washington, completed her first IRONMAN 70.3 in 2024.

  • "You have always had positive and realistic encouragement for me. You help me to stay encouraged when I feel defeated while still telling me to get my shit done and trust the training! You are amazing! I am so thankful! "

Apryl, completed her first IRONMAN 70.3 in 2023.

  • "Your belief in my ability to achieve (and survive!) this goal has often been the fuel to keep me going. Without your guidance, I might have never made it off the couch!"

Tyler, completed his first IRONMAN 70.3 in 2024.

  • "I have been on an incredible journey this year and I am grateful for the people who have helped make it possible. This starts with you. You believed in me before I believed in myself. I owe so much of my success to your guidance. Your encouragement pushed me to dig deeper and go further than I ever thought possible. You always believed in me, even when I doubted myself, and that gave me the framework to see myself grow. Thank you once again for being such an incredible friend and coach."

Rebecca, completed her first IRONMAN 70.3 in 2024.
